Swathi act a slum-dweller character in Poraali Movie

Her character in 'Poraali', a Samuthirakani-directed and Sasikumar-starring film has undergone a sea change. As per the initial arrangement, 'Subramanyapuram' girl Swathi was about to play a slum-dweller.
However, her role has now been changed to that of a city resident and the Telugu-speaking actress is happy about both. "Because both the characters are interesting, meaty and challenging as well", she says.
Happy about working with Samuthirakani and Sasikumar again, after the super hit 'Subramanyapuram', Swathi says, "They are great human beings, good friends and thorough professionals".

Explaining as to why a three-year long break in Kollywood, she says, "Many Tamil offers came my way after Subramanyapuram. But frankly speaking, they were identical to the role I played in my debut movie".
