Actress Vijyalakshmi Filed Case Once AgainActress Vijayalakshmi’s police complaint against director Seeman, has put him on a sticky wicket.
The actress who was Suriya’s heroine in Friends alleged in her complaint that she was in a relationship with Seeman. He had promised to marry her but later reneged on his promise.
Vijayalakshmi was grilled by Valasaravakkam police for two hours. She said that she can “provide adequate proof of her relationship with Seeman at the right time including photographs to confirm the relationship.”
Based on these factors the police has registered a case against the director under various sections of the IPC including harassment and outraging the modesty of a woman, rape and cheating.
However Seeman’s lawyer said: “These charges are baseless. This is an attempt to tarnish the director’s image. We will be filing a Rs 5 Cr defamation suit against the actress.”
